Biography
David is originally from Germantown, Tennessee, a suburb of Memphis. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minors in Economics (B.A) and International Business at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2015. He received his juris doctor at Cumberland School of Law in 2019. David practices in areas of civil litigation with primary emphasis on insurance defense in numerous personal injury, products liability, trucking accidents, and
wrongful death claims in state and federal court, corporate law, and business transactions. He has experience negotiating settlements and resolutions in mediation.
Prior to entering private practice, David was the law clerk to the Honorable Circuit Judge Pat Ballard for the Tenth Judicial Circuit.
David is an active member of the Birmingham Bar Association, the Rotaract Club of Birmingham, Young Professionals of Birmingham, Judge James Edwin Horton Inn of Court, Alabama Capital Network (formerly Birmingham Ventures Club), Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and the Federalist Society. In 2023, David completed the Birmingham Bar Association Future Leaders Forum. He was named Rotaract Outstanding New Member Award for the term of 2023-2024, Rotaract Distinguished Service Award for the term of 2024-2025, and Member of the Month in October 2025. He received Rotary Club District Governor’s Challenge Coin in October 2024. He serves on the Junior Board of the Ronald McDonald House of Alabama and 2026 and 2027 Red Shoe Run committee. He is very passionate about St. Jude Childern’s Research.
